Is my tire broken?

I checked my tire pressure today and noticed that one of my back tires was a little flat. Although i didn't check my pressure for months, so it might be just the weather.

Once i was home i checked my tire for damage and saw:

I did put some water drops on the spots but i didn't see any bubbles.

Should i worry?

Where is the tread? :o
On the road :D
Strangely enough this is legal, even when 1.4mm more is removed.
I just made an appointment for alignment though cause the removal of tread is not even on my back tires.

They looks like stones in the tyre, I would pick them out. The problem you may find though is water can get into the banding and rust the wires, you then find the tyre goes out of shape. I have had tyres loose their shape and was told that this is the reason.

Yup, looks like a few sharp stone chips. No way of knowing how deep until you pull them out. As long as you have enough tread there is no reason you could not get that bunged and glued.

Could be wrong but looks like the inside of the tread near lower center is tearing apart (where the rock is embedded).

Don't expect you will have much longer on that tire.

The tire guy indeed just picked them out, now it looks like all the other cracks in my tire.

Yes, you are right, just came back from my alignment appointment and the guy needed to re-align (not sure about the correct english term) all my wheels.
Not sure, it could be a coincidence, but while driving home i notice my car driving a bit straighter/better.

[edit] now i see what you mean, lucky the tire did not tear apart, what you see on the photo is water in dust which indeed looks like a crack.
