Is My Radio Posessed?

Well it seems to have a mind of its own. Sometimes its fine and other times it loses all the station settings and then some times just some of the settings and thenother times it changes the band from, say FMA to FM1 etc etc.

If it lost all the settings all of the time thenit would be a fuse but as it jsut seems to change on a whim ...........................

Any ideas chaps????

Not an expert and no doubt there will be a member here who can give you more details. From my experience most car stereos have two power wires. One is controlled by the ignition switch so that it turns the stereo off when you turn off the key (so it wont run the battery down). The other wire is used to power and keep the memory, this wire must be connected to power all the time. It sounds like you might have a faulty power connection that keeps the memory up.
 
And there was me thinking you were going to say it kept changing channel every time a Whitney Houston song was played!
