Is it wrong?-

personally i wouldnt want to impose my taste in music to someone like this; its a bit chavvy to play music so loud... I especially hate it in residential areas where people may be sleeping/ relaxing.

However a couple of times i have come off the A road into the city center with my music quite loud and not realised. (talking to passenger etc)

To drive round town with the top down while playing loud music?(u2)-i know the zeds are attention grabbers to start with but am i just setting myself up for trouble with jealous types?-thoughts appreciated.

No it;s not wrong, unless u worry too much what others think. ask yourself this, when you were driving around with the music playing, were you looking for a reaction or lost in the music, the answer is the truth

Sorry - but that's just ridiculous - because you are happy, or 'lost in the music' then sod anyone else???
To me it's all part of the unacceptable face of certain elements of Brits., best seen in any high street on a weekend late evening /night

Of course as posted by others on a fast road with nobody around - enjoy

Driving round town, roof down with music blaring is so crap it's untrue!!It just says PLONKER, in really big letters. If you want to do that, get yourself a hatchback, slam it,then get down jjb sports for a nike baseball hat, and wear it backwards. :D :poke:

when i had a roadster I would turn the music down if entering abuilt up area so as not to attract even more attention, you get enough when you have the top down anyway. Music loud when pressing on at speed is cool though IMO

Around town with roof down...playing loud music? You won't be able to hear people shout "Oi.....w***er"!

Love reading all the negative comments, me I love music, if I am in the right frame of mind and a particular song grabs me I put the volume up and boogie.

The difference is having respect for ones neighbours, so do not have the volume so high that your car attenuates with bass, gets distorted and loses clarity, because then its not for the song
