Cant say this is a surprise

The reason being that people have been mislead and lied to so much that now they dont believe what they are being told, they no longer trust politicians or the media because time after time after time one narrative has been used when it was politically expedient for it so suddenly shift and flip 180 to the counter narrative when it became politically expedient.

I mean if you actually watched it and paid attention he does make the point that the C19 stats were being widely misrepresented and over reported not once but twice the figures that we were getting were revised down because anyone that died "with" covid was a covid death even if they fell of a cliff.

Apply that conflicting, ever changing shifting narrative to the vaccines, they are 100% safe with no side effects... oh wait there are some side effects but they arent serious... oh wait there are some blood clotting issues but dont worry its only isolated cases.... oh wait actually the clotting is a bigger issue so we arent giving the AZ to young folk now but apart from that they are totally 100% safe.... oh wait actually there are some heart related side effects but they are totally isolated.... oh wait actually it seems like young men are suffering for an array of heart related side effects but its totally fine just keep taking the vaccine its the only way to stop transmission.... oh wait actually the vaccine doesnt stop transmission..... etc etc etc etc

Its the fundamental breakdown in trust in authority whether that's politicians, the media or even scientists.
That's all very interesting; but back on topic:

This is not 'back on topic', this is also heart disease but personified in a plate of greasy mystery-meat, carbs and starch!

Burger and Cartoon approach is the best way to deal with predictable ( add your own descriptor here) we just take it completely off topic at the first opportunity!

Are you a keen burger man Ron? :?
Rob

Not really but they certainly seem to have averted yet another oh those nasty vaccines that will kill us all!

Back on topic:-
In Germany three years ago, I had a wild Boar & Venison Burger- Absolutely delicious!
Later that same night I was so ill - food poisoning so bad. I spent the next day in bed.
It put me off the things as tasty as they are.

Please don't use logic, it is too confusing! Remember that there are none so blind than those that WILL not see.

Nice try though, the video was great and I would be willing to bet that those who posted negative comments did not watch it or did not watch it to its conclusion.

It's funny Ron when you eat something and it does it's worst and leaves a lasting impression :| , for me it's leak and mushroom pie, head down the pan for a day and never touched it since :)

Tim.

Reading the responses to this thread made me think of a few things:

Most of our members probably have been jabbed 2 or even 3 times, they do not want to hear that they may have made a mistake.

All the burger comments put these two pictures in my head:

One - An idiom we have over here "whistling while walking through the grave yard." This suggests someone who is afraid as they walk through the cemetery and to keep their minds off of their fear they whistle as a distraction.

Two - a child plugging their ears as they make nonsensical sounds to drown out what they do not want to hear.

Apropos...??

There fixed that for you buddy. No thanks needed.

I think that deserves another burger pic. Anyone?

Old- Duckman,

Can I make a polite suggestion- rather than giving us your ad nausea predictable comments , volunteer at your local hospital who are treating covid victims - then give us all the benefits of your wisdom.

I hope you treat my suggestion seriously - I do not intend it flippantly.

You will be of infinitely more use in such a role.

I’ve just got out of a Acute Respiratory Ward in hospital and found it quite upsetting to see how hard the staff worked and the parting shot was seeing a body bag being loaded onto the gurney.

I'll give you a clue as to how many of us I'd wager think we've made a mistake being jabbed....:

It starts with zero
Ends in zero
Is the answer to 0x0
Is the square root of zero
It's the last number said during a countdown
Is the number before 1
Is the last number on a calculator keypad
....and finally the number of f**ks given to that 13mins of drivel clip. Utter waste of oxygen. :)
