Is it possible to carry a kayak with a Coupe?

Well I'm looking for kayaks. I live close by a lake but I'd be happy to be able to transport the kayak to different lakes. I'm still searching, but I found the below two for now. First one is 10'x29.5" and the second one is 14'x31". Looks like what I want will be around 10 - 14'.

I think the roof is the best place to carry, but how can mount the kayak there?

Don't do that to your coupe! Get a beater for the Kayaks. It's not just the carrying the weight, it's the scum, sand, pebbles etc that come off the kayak when you put it on top. Between what you'll pay for a carrier and the damage to your car you can get a beater for the same price.
