Is it ok to run zed without centre caps?

Hi all,ordering some more centre caps but for the time being is it ok to drive around without them?-is it a bad idea as dust/grit will accumulate inside?-i thought of putting the old ones back on for now but are they easy to pry out without marking the alloys?-thanks

Can't see it being a problem, that area isn't exactly water/dust tight anyway.

Best way to remove the centres without damage is either remove the wheels and push through, or use a sucker cup and pull of from the outside, any other method will probably result in damage.

As srhutch, they don't do anything except cover a visual hole.

'Suction cup' is best for on wheel removal. Many varieties in B and Q - the ones with cup hooks attached but easily adapted.
