is it just me

I change my first Zed after just 7 months for another Zed, but that was because the first one didn’t feel powerful enough (went from 2.0 to 3.0si). So I’ve had this one for nearly 5 months and absolutely love it. Unless my financial situation changes for the worse, I intend to keep it for at least 5 years until the loan is paid off. My DD is a Hyundai Diesel and so whenever I get behind the wheel of the Zed it feels like a proper sports car. I love everything about the car - its acceleration and handling, the driving position, its shape, and when the weather permits the thrill of open top motoring. I can honestly say that after 5 months I get just the same buzz sliding into the driver’s seat and firing up that straight six. :driving:
 
37 cars in 9 years and the z4m is the only one ive had over 12 months.. 36 in fact.. although inwent through 4 bikes a van and a couple of project cars while I had her.. the z and my supra were the only two I havent wanted to sell

Similar taste then Jaw. I had two Supras over a 9 year period and although I loved them, I had to move on to something else. So many cars to try and so little time to do it in. Had the M since February and put 3k miles on her, social driving only.

I love this car, just so responsive and nimble compared to anything else I have owned. The lure of a Cayman GTS is on the horizon but if I can afford to, I will keep the Z for track days or occasional blasting. Not sure if I can justify keeping two performance cars and having a DD for work but I may have to make a choice, one over the other when the time comes.

I've had my Zed for 2.5 years now - never thought I would have held on to it for this long
I used it as DD for 18 months and never got bored of it - just put a bit too many miles on doing this so reverted to weekend use only since then
As Alan says above every time I take it out reminds me of the initial test drive - I knew I had to have it within the first mile!

I have wavered a few times and started to look around for a change but tbh I just couldn't see anything that interests me in this or slightly more price bracket

Looks like I will have it for a while

I wouldn't see a Cooper S as a forward move from a Z4M for f:censored:s sake! Hopefully the "better things" don't include cars!..... :cry:

But back to the original thread, from time to time I think 2 x £290 RFL in a 1 person household is extravagant - then I drive the Z4 and I really don't care! :D

Wow... whats your problem?

I always run a Cooper S as a second car...

I actually sold it to travel the world... which I'm still doing.

You can buy a sports car when ever you like mate and I will when I get back.
