...does this car look the canine's testicles ?

Every few days I have a wee scan of AT, and I keep finding myself looking through the gallery thinking that the black 224s and black grilles really work with the colour. Gives it some proper attitude in a weird subtle way. I'm not looking to buy at all, but if I was I'd be very tempted. It seems about £500 over-priced compared to others of similar mileage, but it is an 08.

Saw that one.... if the wheels were silver I'd like it

Doesn't take long to get them changed :D

Like the black wheels tbh, just get it Bing... And take me for a run in it.

Lol :D Mrs B needs a new(er) motor first

I think it looks ace - 'purposeful' is the word. The first shot and the full side on shot do it for me. See to work without tyreshine too :?

Looks fantastic except for the black wheels though

All you need to do is to convince Mrs B that your need for a car is greater than hers, but good luck with that one though

I have to agree with you bing. I can help with the wheels though in silver

I wouldn't have black on my roadster, not keen on black on black... Even though DPGs coupe looks great. Works just fine on interlagos though. Don't you worry, silver is just fine for my car

God it's depressing how cheap (and abundant) Z4MRs are over there :(

Still on the hunt for one here...

I bet it would still be cheaper after shipping to buy one over here! Off topic but friend of a friend imported into Au two old m3s. Sold one and the profit from it nearly paid the shipping and cost of the one he kept!

I'm not usually keen on black wheels with the interlagos however after seeing a roadster for sale a while back my mind was changed as it had the addition of matching blue rim edging. This combined with the black wheel really sets off the car.

Lovely car but the Jury's out for me on the wheels, not sure black on blue works - it's crying out for silver CSL's (yeh I know been done a thousand times but they do look bloody marvellous on the ///M

Needs silver wheels binglesby, you know it, I know it, you're just not ready to admit it :poke:

Hmmm...I've been thinking for a while about having my 224s refurbished in black or maybe gun metal, but I'm just not sure that black on blue would work (although I have black kidneys and they look great). I only use them as track wheels, so it's not a disaster if they look terrible, but I don't want to waste money having to return them to silver. Has anyone used Plastidip on wheels? If so, does it affect wheel balancing and what happens when the tyres are changed - does it peel off or is it tougher than that?

My thoughts echoes those of many of this forum, black wheels are horrendous. Surely you could buy it and get them redone a more tasteful colour?
