I bought 5l of this stuff and am very much looking forward to trying it out pre claying. Check out this video of it applied to a brand new Citroen DS3 :o

This along with Tardis which is another great product.

Not used that. Is the use of it similar to iron x ? (spray on soak, rinse)

sorry to ask a stupid question but what does it do, from the video all i see is it sprayed on then washed off

It gets rid if all iron deposits from paintwork/bodywork. brilliant stuff, but stinks lol!

I guess it's another product that removes some of the 'elbow grease' at a premium

It's good to use pre-claying as it reduces the abrasives that could go into the clay and scratch your paint

Have you used this yet? Interested to know how well it works...

how does iron x not damage brakes, it removes very well brake dust from wheels, but surely that same stuff is what the pads and discs are made from, why doesn't it eat into them, I have only applied it to wheels when they are off the car

the detailing place I purchased from said its fine to use on wheels that are on the car, but I am not convinced myself

is there anything else you should do prior to claying? what is best for removing say, wax, that has built up from successive wax on wax off exercises?

thought i might give mine a claying at some point (got my old man's father's day gift from halfords and thought i'd get a megs clay bar on their 3 for 2.... :) ) just wondered how you get down to 'bare' paint prior to starting...

Its best to wash the car first, then maybe iron x etc to remove as much dirt (iron contaminants) as possible, then clay bar to remove the rest, claybar can also take wax off I think, (I have never clayed a car)

pre-foam.
claying removes the wax.
