ipod stopped working.

got the bmw ipod interface and it aint working.... :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: , what happens is when i press the mode button to get to ipod play it plays for about 10 seconds then stops and the display says 'NO DISCS', Anyone got any ideas please...

Can you try another ipod?

if not loose connection maybe

Does the iPod continue to play? I.e. nothing changes there or does it stop there as well.

GOT IT !!!, after an hour taking things to bits and playing around i found that the CD stacker MUST have at least one disc init for the ipod interface to work ????, don't ask me how that works but the ipod is ok now the cartridge has a disc in...

Forgot to mention i had taken a disc out of the magazine last week but had not put the two things together
