iPod Playlists not working correctly

A while ago I had to re-build my iPod and ever since then I've had a problem with the playlists.

They were set up as BMW1, BMW2 etc etc with no spaces between the W and number.

Have tried a few things to resolve this.

Deleted all playlists, added just one, added all back onto ipod.

When I select button 1 it plays all songs, when I select button 2, it plays BMW1, button 3 is BMW2, button 4 is BMW3 and so on.

Anyone out there got any ideas?
 
Have you other play lists, IIRC BMW1 will only tie up with button one if it's the first playlist.

My guess would be you have created a playlist which is before BMW1 in itunes/ipod
