Right then, apologies for bringing this up again, but i am looking to connect my ipod to my z4 sound system. You have all been giving me really good advice (much appreciated), however after reading sooo many views and opinions im a little confused.

I read somewhere on here that somebody connected it using the AUX but the sounds quality was naff. Also somebody else said the sound skipped the carver amplifier which sounded poor, as i have the carver stereo fitted to my car, i am left wondering whars best ?.........i want sound equal to that of playing a cd (but dont want the dension system as my mate had one and had so many problems he god rid). Also i am wondering if i should get rid of the changer, i originally wanted to keep it but i am willing to sacrifice it providing the sound from whatever system i choose to connect the ipod is 'top notch'...........

Also what is LINE OUT ?..it comes up as a menu on my stereo when flicking through the modes.

Cheers

Sorry i think its TONE LINE that come sup, not LINE OUT.

If I am not mistaken the "Tone LINE" that you are referring to is a selection, if depressed, it will reset all of your TONE, BASS, FADER, BALANCE, settings to its original default position, or the center position -][- , -0-, ....
