iPod again

Hi,

I know this has been posted numerous times before but i still don't know what option is best to go with. I have a 03 z4 and i want to connect my iPod to the stereo. Can someone point me to kit that they have used before and that you are quite happy with. Links would be greatly appreciated as i am not sure what exactly i need to get, thanks in advance
 
Aux is indeed the cheapest and easiest option to install.

Without SatNav, the DICE and Intravee are both fine but you have limited info on the radio display.
 
Ok cool, AUX is perfect then... i do not need screen display.

What parts do i need to get as i am unsure what connections are at the back of my radio... and also i rember looking for a part before and gave up as i could not find it on eBay... so any links or if anyone is selling one... it would be greatly appreciated, thanks again for the replies
 
The PArt number has been on here many many times - check out the AUX DIY thread.

I just bought it from the dealer rather than playing about on fleabay :P
 
The previous owner of my Z4 fitted iPod Interface in the car. I bought an iPod mini last week, and it works very well. Aux is easier and cheaper option, but you cannot control iPod via BMW Radio.
 
DICE as you can have text diplay on the radio LED screen. That said, avoid if youve got an IPOD touch as it will not charge!
 
Being able to control the ipod through the radio and steering wheel buttons is a definite bonus. I have the AUX on my Z$ and an integrated system on my other car. The untegrated system is far superior to the AUX input in my opinion. I plan to have it installed on the Z4 soon.
