iPhone - worth it? (technophobe needing help!)

Incredibly despite me ordering the phone last night around 5pm, I've just been told it arrived at the house 10am this morning. One hacked off wife who was trying to sleep late in preparation for night-shift tonight, but nevermind :D

lacroupade, yep just couldn't justify the extra cost. The Samsung is a cheap handset, <£200 SIM-free, so I'll try to not be too critical of it. Being honest I doubt I'd scratch the surface of what an iPhone can do and will probably be similar with the Samsung. I do fully intend setting up my e-mail on the Samsung (there's a gmail app for that), and will get use out of the internet and music functions. I wonder what z4-forum looks like on a 3.1" screen

ally, which provider are you with at the moment? If you are already with O2 then you can get a free 3GS (maybe 32Gb) and fairly low monthly rate. You need to speak to retentions though ;)

Yep, that was what they offered me in December when I phoned to discuss my options since I'm now at the end of my 18 month 3G contract. I decided to just "roll on" month by month till June/July when the 4G will be launched. :)

I pitched up on day 1 and got a PAYG 16Gb 3GS for £440... will be there again when the next one comes out. The idea was to sell the 3GS so the upgrade wouldn't cost much, but the missus has decided she wants my 3GS when I upgrade LOL

And no, I'm not following this, someone posted on Twitter this morning. No closet iPhoner here.
