IPhone on nav??

On YouTube if you search "iphone-display e86" there's a video of an iPhone screen being mirrored onto the nav screen with audio through car speakers too...anyone ever done it? didn't know it was even possible!

Did it on a 330d with cic idrive and the screen resolution isnt good enough. Was also very clunky so took it out.
