iPhone not charging with intravee

My iPhone 4S isn't charging with the intravee. I just get an error saying not supported... Do I need one of those adapters?

Anyone live near me who can explain this thing? I found a random menu and now can't do anything!

I had this problem - i bought a converter from ebay for ~£5 delivered.

Mine looks identical to this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-12v-to-5v-Voltage-Charge-Adapter-Converter-fr-iPhone-3GS-4S-4-iPod-Touch-3-4-/130788048691?pt=UK_MP3_Player_Accessories_Cables_Adapters&hash=item1e73933f33

But i cant seem to find my order history for the exact ad i bought it from.

the menu is a bit confusing, but if you play with it for a while you'll figure out the slightly backwards scrolling through menus, the manual doesnt help much either :D they also vary with the firmware version installed!

it doesn't surprise me that i need the converter although the crappy £5 charger i had before did! go figure.

i just connected it up and trailed the wire outside the car to have a play and i couldnt seem to get back to a now playing screen, just was stuck in a list of all the songs. luckilly i only have about 300 on the phone. i assuemd there would be a menu button that would take me back to a start screen.

also i assumed it would mimic the itune interface a little. so of you chose an album it would show you a list of songs in that album. so if you wanted song 3 you would just scroll through the names till you got to it.

i only had a play for 10 mins so its probably just me.

how can i tell what version is installed? it was quite new so im guessing the latest but its always worth an update if one is available

and what about these other features people say for lights and stuff how do i get into those?

Yep i also got confused by the song browsing system - i expected <click artist> - <select from list of albums> - <select track> - <hear song>

instead i got something like <select artist> - it plays every song
or <select album> - it plays whole album

I found it much more intuitive after i'd upgraded the firmware if im honest.

for settings related to lights etc, there's a menu called "extras" i think (in the settings menu i think..), has it all in there. If you dont have this, it maybe you need to upgrade. I think in the settings menu it also has options to list firmware versions etc, i can look tonight to be more specific if needs be.

Two ways to exit a search screen, either scroll all the way to the top and select the 'Back' option, or Click and hold the rotary controller.

You can select 'Auto Song Search' so that you go to Song Search after selecting a Playlist or Album. Selecting an Artist automatically selects Sub-Album search.
