iphone ipod connection help

Ive been looking at the dice and the intracee kits but cant workout which is the better solution. I want to beable to plug the ipod in hidden or i saw someone managed to fit theirs in there cigerette holder part. I also want to use my new iphone in the car for music and calls. Has anyone experience of this?

Ive already gotten the aux setup but am fed up of my ipod going flat and having wires all over the place for it so probably want to hide all the parts away. Im not bothered if the cd player doesnt work anymore as i dont really have any cds now.

Any suggestions and help much apreciated.

I haven't got mine yet, but I'm going to be in exactly the same situation... I've got Bluetooth prep but from what I hear it doesn't work with the iPhone...

Do u have the sat nav or want something akin to the bmw ipod cable?

(sry not hyjacking your thread just hope two people researching same problem is better than one)

ive got the sat nav and bluetooth Id like to beable to answer the phone via the current bluetooth system but search tracks on the sat nav like the intravee lets you. Im hoping to get the new phone on friday if i get to the shop in time.

I want to get as clean and tidy a solution as possible.

Do you also need both your iphone and iPod connected at the same time?

I have this http://www.usaspec.com/ipod.html in my car...

they say it works with all Ipods but I've got the non nav radio setup. Im sure if you ask the tech support they will tell you about your options
