IPhone cable problem

Hi guys,

I bought my car with an iPod cable hooked up instead of the cd changer. The problem is the cable is an old level cable and will only charge older generation iPods/iPhones and not my iPhone 4. Does anyone know if there is a cable that might work and is it easy to get behind the cd changer as that's where the cable comes out of.

Thanks :)

Do you mean the BMW iPod kit ?

I just added the Scosche plug in between, no need to replace cable:

This might help but read to recommendations to validate it's relevance

I got a £7 ebay one.. which does the same job as the amazon link.... after Apple replaced my gen1 nano with a gen 6 :x and it no longer charged.

Ah yes, I have the same issue now with my Bose dock that no longer charges the iPod either.
