Iphone and leather

Hey guys,

have a nice day first of all. Secondly i) New iPhone 7 has no socket? Seriously? How could we use aux if we were to get it. Staying with the 5S I think... or else... no music for long roadtrips  ii) on the door, on the side of the drivers seat, the leather from black has gotten a bit white on spots. Any good product I could use to renew the leather? Pics to come :D

My understanding is that there will be a lightning adapter with a headphone socket that ships with the iPhone7.
For your leather issues, I use the products here, although others have used Glipitones/Liquid Leather products (link)

It comes with the lightning to headphone jack connector and you'll also be able to buy one here http://www.apple.com/uk/shop/product/MMX62ZM/A/lightning-to-35mm-headphone-jack-adapter?fnode=97 so really no big issues. I don't know why people always bang on about technological changes like this (not you btw).

Because some of us have expensive proper headphones, and don't want the faff on an extra adapter hanging from the phone.

Besides, how do you use headphones and charge the phone at the same time.
Bad Apple.

Me as well :P . I don't like change and I am not a big fan of electrical new mumbo jumbo. I prefer my watch original style, not apple electronic style and my car with petrol and a manual gearbox. I could live in the 70s :) (I know its bad but... what can you do). :)

Yeah, actually that's the one thing I did think i.e. charging and listening. Hummmm.

I suspect that is apple's plan - to use that very annoyance to push their new wireless earbuds off the shelves.

I've got i6 edge7 and looking at i7 possibly as selling i6 and keeping other i6 as in car upon

But for i7 charging
Samsung has wireless charging so could use that in car as it's plugged into USB
Perhaps as haven't read specs yet it may come with wireless charging if so that's your answer to charging and playing:)

For all of you complaining about having expensive headphones, you should be delighted.

The market will now have far more external DAC options for lightning to 3.5mm.

I can't wait to see what else comes as a result.

As for in car...you've got plenty of bluetooth to aux options out there such as this.
