iPhone 7 / IOS 11 Bluetooth contacts issue

Hi all

Must admit I didn’t even realise for god knows how long but I notice my phone book on my idrive (2010 Z4 pre Combox) is empty ... I’ve had this phone for nearly a year and it definitely transferred contacts before ...

So I went into my phone I realised Bluetooth contact sync was turned off..

So turned it back on hoping it will resync

But it just say transferring contacts for a bit, then says unable to transfer contacts and errors out.

I have tried the usual turn Bluetooth off and on, delete pairing etc ...

Anyone else had same issue?

Might pay to reboot the iPhone, I know someone who had an issue with a 4 series like this, and that sorted it for him

It turns out if I turn off Group syncing for phone favourites and phone recents and just have All Contacts ON that works ok !
