iphone 6 1 day old on o2 or tesco 16gb white/silver

I bought this off ebay last week described as unlocked unfortunately when I put my Vodafone sim card in it appears if is locked to o2 , i followed the instructions at Ducklakeview's house trying to unlock it with itunes and a vodafone sim card but it didn't workso it is being sold as locked. I know you can get them unlocked but I just bought one new from Vodafone. I removed the sellophane wrapper and put on a glass screen protector and then discovered it was locked. Ideal for someone already on o2 or Tesco

Looking on ebay these sell from 250 to 300 in used condition so bargain @ £240 delivered

Item miss-described. Personally I'd contact the seller for a refund (will have to be minus carriage) and if they don't play ball raise a complaint with ebay.
On the few occasions I've had similar problems ebay have always backed me up and made a full refund of the item cost in the end.

I have done, seller isnt being very communicative, id rather just sell on & sort out through paypal in mean time for a partial refund. Thanks for the suggestion :thumbsup:
