i know this has been done to death.....but the mrs has just got a new iphone 4s and im thinking if shes got one then i sure as hell can have one

she went thru 02 and paid 50 up front and is gonna pay 46 a month for unlimited calls an txts and 2gb data, its a 32 gb iphone i believe
i think shes been ripped off personally...
cos ive found on carphone warehouse u can get a 16gb iphone 5 with same minutes etc but u pay nothing up front and its 41 per month

so my question is, any issues going to a carphone warehouse?? im sure theyre pretty legit? if i went thru 02 directly id have to pay 30 quid for the phone....
and am i better off getting a 16gb iphone 5 or a 32gb 4s??
theres only so much porn i need to store on there anyway so do i need more memory??

and i dont want this to be a galaxy s3 vs iphone battle....

hmmm looks like the cheapest with unlimited calls etc and 2gb is 41 quid a month....
sound good?

not liking the fact its like 900 quid over 2 years just for a phone tho

Just be careful of the cash back schemes and I agree its a rip off. I dont ever get contracts, I buy phones on ebay and go for sim only 30 day contracts, saves me about £1-200 a year. However its all down to what you use etc. PS I'm not sure you can do that with the iphone as you may lose functionality like visual voicemail etc etc.

Nothing wrong with carphone warehouse been with them and O2 for years and always had good service. It is worth working out if getting the phone free is the best value though. Especially if you have an existing phone that you can sell on ebay it can work out better value paying a bit for the phone and getting a cheaper monthly contract. You won't be disappointed with an iPhone 4S or iPhone 5.

Don't worry about big memory either as cloud service works really well

so im better off paying 41 pm with nothing upfront for a 16gb 5
rather than 46 per month with 50 upfront for a 32gb 4s

im not even sure what cloud service is....but im sure i ll learn
weve given up on waiting for sky net and phone to get connected so weve been using a bt wifi for now, but im assuming tht if i mostly used the iphones internet then 2gb is def the one to go for....
cant see 1gb being enough for pressing refresh every 10 secnds on either the forum or fb haha

or are they cheaper originally so dont do discounts
probs need to go in and ask but it seems like the best offers are online anyway

EE is the rebranded merger of the Orange and T-Mobile networks. Overnight their coverage went from patchy to excellent

well looking online i can get an iphone 5 for 50 quid upfront and 46 per month by going with EE, maybe they will also do mod discount.

im under the impression tht if i paid 41 quid a month for 02 id then have to pay more when they get 4g yes?

I've been with orange for donkeys now so when I say I'm going to leave they come up trumps!
My wife had my old iPhone 4 on 300 minutes, unlimited texts, and 500mg of data for £8.50 a month on a 12 month sim only deal too. I didn't really want the 5 but she's been pestering me to upgrade so she can have my old one, she's like a dog with two dicks now and she doesn't use my phone anymore :D

Would recommend the 4s deals on t-mobile at the moment - but only available on their website. Just switched both wife and son onto their network from Vodafone - vodafones charges for Internet are a complete rip off!
