iphone 5 bluetooth pairing again

Sorry to bother you guys with utter trivial old man stuff - but i cant find instructions in the manual to pair my iphone 5 with my Z
Ive pressed the RT botton on the steering wheel and it says no phone on the radio console -but doesn't seem to come up on my iphone is discoverable mode
What am i doing wrong here -ie how do i activate bluetooth so my phone can see it -its def prepped for bluetooth as there is a code in the folder and it says on the options list it has bluetooth -hmm

Ok so I found the button in the arm rest and although it says succeeded on the radio on the phone it says unpaired ,then when i try to pair on the phone it says paired and then goes back to unpaired
Once it's set up can you use the steering wheel buttons without the cradle ,which I don't seem to have

Sure someone with the right answer will be along soon. From memory (mine ) I believe you have to switch on the iginition press the button behind/in the centre console opening and the system switches into pairing mode. I have the manual need to go look and do my own iphone6!! sorry if couldn't be of immediate help.

Ok thanks I'll have another go at it tomorrow
I got as far as it going into pair mode and putting in the code which it accepted and it saying paired on my phone ,but then it goes back to laying the pair .maybe i just need to have a few more goes .
Then there is the question of the steering wheel controls working with the phone

Mad Professor, this is a common issue - Once the car pairs with one phone it carries on looking for others - as soon as the phone is paired just turn the car off and take the key out then when you turn the car back on the phone will automatically pair with the car.
