iPhone 3GS (+OS 3.0) is Z4 bluetooth compatible

... also works with the Dension Icelink Plus, although it won't charge it, so I just ordered this:

Might have to see if the cable will reach the cubby hole between the seats somehow now, so I dont have to put the phone in the glovebox... mmm
Tested it just now by playing some music... called the phone and it cut the music, hung up and it carried on... ok, so that's expected behaviour but these things never work for me!! Cool!

So you're streaming music over bluetooth with the BMW built-in BT module/iphone harness? Was about to ask before seeing your post, I'd read the new (sorry, unlocked) stereo bluetooth that came with OS3.0 (upgraded 3G or new 3Gs) needed a more up to date Bletooth module in the boot (5th gen or '06 onwards), can you verify?
Already have my iPhone 3G on 3.0 and it's stayed paired, do I need to pair it again for BT-Stereo?

I'd read it might be possible with the latest gen BT module and on iDrive.Oh well, thanks for the clarification anyway guys.
Just re-paired mines under OS3.0, taking an age for the address book and the information in the handbook as to how long this procedure will take and if it picks up from the last point of download when the ignition is turned off....lets hope so and I'm guessing it's dependent on the No. of entries.
