iPad mini stock levels...

John Lewis also have no stock and no idea when they are likely to get any in. Shame as they offer an all inclusive two year warranty.
 
Hi aquazi, I think that Stark will be getting it tomorrow. If it goes wrong then, will you be able to otherwise tomorrow evening?

I could check duty free in Dublin airport tomorrow night if thats any help... the dixons here may have some,
 
That would be great if Stark has issues tomorrow. Typically, I am not doing my weekly run to Dublin at the moment either (we probably visit the same client in Dublin :) ).
 
Dioxins are £10 cheaper....at the airport, but I was in the airport the other day and they had sold out. I will pop to Westfields by mid day tomorrow

What do peeps think of the mini if they've had an iPad before?
I'm thinking of upgrading from the original iPad to the new iPad, because I don't think the screen is big enough if you use it a lot. The mini is really light and easy to hold but worry I'd miss the bigger screen.
 
I've been debating this for ages. I have both, and trying to convince myself to keep one. I like having the latest gadgets etc, but I could get a Galaxy Note 2, and keep the iPad 4
 
Kindle fire HD?

I just bought one for the girlfriend for Christmas, it took some configuring to get rid of all the adverts and noise. But now it's all up and running I'm sure she will like it, more so for the size and the ease / ability to shop on amazon for books. Even the email and webclient are very intuitive and well laid out.

Infact stacked up against my iPad I could easily move to this device
 
Have the Ipad3 and now bought an Android tab for my dad. Cheap as chips as similar specsthough bigger screen to the mini.

1/3 the price.
 
Apple Westfields have a few in stock, but no 16GB Wi Fi ones, the most popular selling ones.....but lots of 32GB and 3G ones....

Me too, although the lack of sync with iTunes would be a problem for me.
 
The 32 Gb one - does not make sense to me, way too expensive for little gain.

Trouble with the 16gig version is that it's very easy to fill up with music and films etc. my 32gb is over the 16gb capacity without any films downloaded.
 
That's what you have iCloud for, you stream films as and when you need them. I always made the mistake with buying 64GB ones, and now I only buy 16GB and stream the films I want as and when.....with good download time, it takes 15 mins
