iOS 6 reboot bug?

I just updated to i06 this morning - simply because it said 'update available'. Now I notice lots of my app icons have gone, but I can't recall what they were. Wished I hadn't bothered now!
Have you done a reset and if so then a restore .
My old iP4 is fine on iOS6 but only after a restore using the backup ( iPhone was fine before so backup was a safe solution

Actually the opposite.

My 3Gs used to reboot 5 min after being switched on & sometimes just when it felt like it.

On IOS6 been very well behaved

not that I know of, its a pain.... no doubt they will fix it shortly after their software team has finished adding all the missing towns to every country haha

And turning Eiffel Tower back into a tower and not a flat 'X' on the ground and several other wonderful errors...

Yahoo - my iPhone has found my location now.

I am in Bergen, Norway at the moment.

Well, I am actually at home, but my phone thinks it is there at least. Wonder if I get roaming charges as well ...

Installed IOS6 as soon as it was available on my 4 and everything was fine until today when it stopped being able to connect to wifi.Quick google search revealed this to be a common problem :headbang:

What is causing it then? Can you go back to IOS5 and re-apply 6?

Not sure how some phones would work and some wouldn't.

Is there a trick to close all running apps in one go rather than close each in turn?

I'd forgotten about running apps, just checked and must have had every app on my iphone open and running.

Battery might last a little longer now or the phone run faster! :D

I wasn't intending to go for iOS6, but though about plugging in getting the latest 5.1 on there and undo the jailbreak. When offered iOS6, I thought I'd give it a try.

This is just on an iPhone 4. Wifi stopped working straight away, with the attempted login of the Apple page. I did find a suggested fix to set http proxy to Auto, with blank fields, and it has been fine after that. Of course, that won't work if you need an actual proxy.

There's really not a lot different. A do not disturb option. Some pointless apps installed for me. Describing the maps as poor is being kind. Town names are generally not available because they are in the wrong place. Redhill is called Reigate. Leatherhead is called Oxshott. All the suburbs in south London it can't be bothered with, apart from Addington.

The first time I spoke through bluetooth on the Zed it was very noisy, but it has behaved itself since. No reboots and battery life is still normal.

Most useless App award goes to Passbook, downloaded with IOS6.
I can now save tickets purchased from 2 US airlines a German one and a 2nd tier hotel agency.

Surely launch it with a proper list of partners.

I saw that, I clicked on it - scrolled through the list of, well, nothing that I use, and wrote it off :)

Funny, I didn't think it would be any use at all. Today I checked in with Lufthansa and it has my boarding card. So much better than the text or email retrieval that frequently fails to load

It's corrected itself today

Without doubt way better than emails. I've used the BA app for ages and it's super slick. My moan was an app being launched by Apple with just 4 partners at the start.

I'm sure in 3 months it will have loads.

Hot of the press...
