Hey All,

I'm Nero, I'm an electronic engineer who choses to teach


I've been into cars for at least 20 years.
I seem to enjoy tinkering more than the driving aspect!!

I had a MK Indy(pic included) with a 2l pinto in it, but after a couple of operations I found it increasingly hard to get in and out of, also, I was fed up being caught out in the rain!!

So..

I bought this (i think its the cheapest z4 in the uk) with the intention of returning it to stock..

I'm sure I will have many questions over the coming months, I am also fairly knowledgeable on a few bits and pieces so I hope I can offer advice as well as ask for it.

So far..

I've replaced the center brake light and given a quick detail..

Whats the spec on ur zed?
And mentioning that ur an electrical engineer is going to pre-empt a lot of zed related lekky issue questions i think. Hope ur prepared?! :o

Its a 2.5..Black with a dysentery beige interior...

I'm in process of sorting out interior!!

Dont know much else at the moment

Have the same interior, i think its ok. Nice and light.
Yes sorry electronic/electrical. Huge difference.
And yep, had a foot in holland and uk for the past 16 years now. Prefer Holland tbh. Prepares for backlash...

Welcome Nero, nice car, the leather interior should clean up nicely, was the rear centre brake light easy to Change as I want to do it mainly as my red one has a crack in it. I think the clear one looks good on black car, is yours jet black 668 like mine? :thumbsup:

Bloody hell its a small world - you bought the Indy off me !
Been on this site for bout 6 months having bought the less desirable ( by all accounts) 2.0 z4.
Hope you're well, the z4 is not the easiest of cars to get in & out of !
