Just thought ide introduce myself to the forum..

Ive been lurking about here gathering info on the G29,s , in prep for my purchase...

I can now reveal my new toy..

Its a M40i First Edition, in Frozen Orange,, a 19 plate car, that has been sourced from a dealer near to me...

I was originally after a red or blue car, but as i couldn,t quite find the spec ,, or a car near to me, the First edition came into view,
I was at first hesitant , regarding the frozen paint work, but after a few messages, and advice from a well respected contributor on here, i decided to take the plunge.

And it is everything and more than i expected from a Z4...

Heres hoping to a long and happy ownership and many roof off miles..

Cheers Dave.

Hope you have many happy miles in her.

Yep. This is the truth.

FO good… SFR better.

Both are better than them boring white or blue ones tho

There’s something about Metallic Matte Frozen Orange with the black trim that ticks all the right boxes. Add the engine and gearbox combo of the M40i and it is one the best all round BMs out there.

Mine still remains the easiest car I’ve ever had to look after. No polishing and just a quick was and dry required. Best BM I’ve ever had by far!

Enjoy the car Dave and full marks for not believing all nonsense about matte paint being a nightmare to live with.

Beautiful car. Funnily enough I saw exactly that car in St Albans today. Very nice indeed.

Wish you many years of motoring fun.

Love the FO.

Im in the boring white camp (lol). I say that, I'm still waiting for it to arrive.

It probably would have been my choice if it was still on the colour list when I put my order in.

Enjoy!

Less pigment to weigh things down in the white ones.

The only difference between your G29s and mine, is mine would appear to be in a box of half missing components in Austria.
