My first post - I recently became the proud owner of a Z4M, thought I'd say hello and ask a couple of questions. It's my fourth BMW (the only brand I've owned) after an '02 E46 320d SE, '05 E60 535d Sport (Individual) and '02 E46 325Ci Sport (the last being my favourite of the three!).
The car's specification is as follows:
Interlagos Blue
Extended Black Nappa Leather
'M' Embossed Headrests
Logic 7 Hifi
Bluetooth Preparation
CD Changer
Cruise Control
Park Distance Control
Electric folding mirrors
Heated seats
I'm sure this question has been addressed before but I'm looking to see what method people actually use for integrated an iPod (while maintaining an active CD changer). Wanted to see if there is an elegant solution out there that doesn't involve drilling holes in the dash for an aux-in or having to use an FM modulator for example. Not that I'd ever tire of that engine noise, but having some musical accompaniment doesn't hurt 8) .
Planned enhancements in the near term are cupholders and a car cover. Anything else I should be considering?
I'm a stickler for keeping a car's specification as original as possible and only using OEM parts where required for any upgrades. I'm sure BMW's M Division engineers are more clued up than myself on what functions best on the car!
Thanks in advance.
