Introducing myself.

Hi, I'm Dave, AKA Grumps. I'm not new to the world of zedding but new to owning a Z4. I previously had a preface lift 98 Z3 2.8 or 7 years where I frequented on another forum. I'm sure many of the guys from there will be on here aswell.
In December I bought 2.5i e85 from Lee at the zedshed, I'm sure he'll be around on here somewhere. Lee had done all the usual refresh work he does, back axle refurb, all new brakes, suspension, bushes etc etc. It also had a extra bits on spec, heated memory leather, sport button, multi function wheel to name a few. The car was an SE with cream leather and wood (lovely ) but was switched out for black with brushed Ali trim.
When I got it the car it was Mauritius blue with silver rims but decided to change it more to my taste. I love the transformation but appreciate with all have different tastes.
Hopefully I'll meet some of you at some meets, I'm not far from the zedfest so I'll hopefully make that next year.

The white highlights the shape of the car really well. Any more plans for it or just drive and enjoy?

I agree, it's Mineral pearl white so flecks lovely too in the sun, if we ever get any!
Plans wise, euro trips mainly, going to Spain and France in it this Sunday for 2 weeks, other than that, keep it clean, I am a bit fanatical with the cleaning

White seems to be quite rare on E85s, but for some reason white is one of the most popular colours on E89s. :?

Argh yes makes sense, I assumed he'd be lurking around somewhere.

I wasn't a fan of the colour but bought it due to the work Lee had done to it and knowing it will be well bed in .

It's paint, I looked at a wrap but I like to polish and keep my cars nice and a wrap makes that almost impossible other than washing it.

Thanks it took some time and ££££ but I'm hapoy with the results.

I don't think Mineral white was available on the e85, seen quite a few artic white ones over the pond but not here. I've always liked the colour so it was an easy choice for me.
