Can someone please email me the tool...
I need to change UI from 2 to 6 but I cannot get it from the intravee forum because I need to get an account to download it.... unfortunately it's not allowing registration of new accounts!

BTW, it's only a terminal emulator. Hyperterminal etc will work just fine to talk to its command line.

Andy - they're not closed for registration, only stopping registration directly through the Intravee forum. Email their support ([email protected]) and they will respond with details how to register.

Thanks Mark I did that.. I wasn't expecting a reply until tomorrow but I got one within the hour! Pretty good.

Shame my USB<>Serial FDTI drivers are playing up... I hate those $hitty USB VCP drivers.

Can you not change it using the head unit/startup sequence? Saves any external software or hardware. Let me know when it's all sorted!

Couldn't change via the head unit, it was getting in a muddle.

in the end I got my serial connection working and have reflashed the entire device with the latest firmware, rebooted it and now it all works a treat..

Quite a natty gadget :0)

In addition the intravee support guy is very responsive and helpful.. excellent customer service I have to say.

They've been brilliant. I emailed them on Sunday, expecting to hear on Monday, I got a response within a couple of hours

+1 - just did this yesterday and activated the blinker count. Excellent, although wife thinks its sad that I'm getting excited by these little changes.....

In control, you have the option to enable multiple indicator flashes on a stalk press rather than the 1 we normally get. If you haven't got an extras menu go back into the command line and use the enable extras command. That will bring up a new menu option. You have to agree to their disclaimer than you're in.

Because 1 blink of the indicators is pants when you're used to 3!

If you have folding mirrors it'll make them auto fold as well

I don't think folding mirrors work via intravee, cos as far as I can tell on the Z4 they are not on the ibus. Shame as I'd like that (I do )

Z4 is not specified in that section of the manual.

If someone with INPA would like to perform the folding mirror tests while logging the iBus then that might confirm if the mirrors are controllable via the iBus.

It's likely to be a bit of a one sided test, in that it could confirm that they are if commands are logged, but not confirm that they are not if no commands are logged!

Well I tried the blink thing but can't see what it's supposed to do.. do u mean when locking it?

Switched on all the folding mirror stuff but nothing happened . I will have a go at logging it.

I have also noticed that I cannot get it to play random tracks. It did work for a bit but then I selected a track manually and it's not gone random since... what's the trick? Is it a bug?

I'm still getting my head around it. The blink thing is when you "flick" the indicator stalk and it will blink 2 or more times (depending upon the setting) instead of only once. If you have the car type set wrong, it will flash the main beam once on a LH flick but work OK on a RH one. It won't make any changes unless you acknowledge the disclaimer.
