Intravee Question

Sooo, I've updated the firmware on my Intravee and accepted the disclaimer to turn on some of the extras. In the vehicle setup there is no Z4, so what have people got theirs set up as?

Interesting buglet that might be related to the vehicle type; When I set the number of flashes for the indicators, if you press left, it flashes the mainbeam and blinks once regardless of setting. The RH indicator functions as you'd expect it to.

Yeah, I found that on the # of flashes, so switched that feature off. I can't remember what car I set it as, as it doesn't have E85/E86 - think it was first on the list. Sorry, but my car's in the garage getting the steering column replaced, otherwise I'd be able to tell you :)

Thanks Mark. I sent them a mail asking about the vehicle type and reporting the buglet

Sticky steering? The new column they fitted to mine has cured it and transformed the drive. I suspect there were other things they've fixed in the steering ECU. I've noticed that if you spin the wheel from lock to lock when parking it seems to be over assisted. Very light indeed!

I think I elected to choose the E46 Type II option (or at least that's what I think it's called). Can't say I've had that issue with the sticky indicators when using that model type.

I can confirm that works, change the vehicle type to E46 Mkii and now 3 blinks works a treat. Intravee support really is tippity top!

I also spotted a speedo correction correction, so another question from a while back answered. Hopefully I can get the speedo a little more accurate

I emailed them to tell them (as I guess others will ask) and they are going to amend the menu to E46 MkII/Z4 on the next f/w release. I understand now why everyone raves about their support.

To be fair, the Dension team were always pretty good too.
