Intravee Issues

Just fitted a intravee and on first impressions I don't rate it too much.
Interface isn't exactly clear or well laid out. On Fast search; by scrolling through artists for example it's pretty slow at catching up and if you turn the knob too quick it tends to miss a few.

Most annoying bit is clicking search > artist and as you're slowly scrolling it will jump off the menu and go onto a different menu like the map of my Nav for example.
Only way round this is to switch off and put on again. Anyone else have this problem?

TIA
Gareth

I believe a firmware update fixes a lot of this, but I haven't yet bothered to get the serial cable I need.

The only thing that annoys me is having to scroll through the albums / artists to find "<<BACK<<" before I can exit to the Now Playing Screen, and I sometimes have to cycle through the Source button to get the display back.

Press the select key long, that will get it back.

Firmware update allows you to change the layout as well.

side tracking a bit, but to have this it seems like you need the cd changer wiring. i don't have a cd changer, so does that mean i don't have the wiring?

EDIT: just found the thread about installing the Intravee and a comment about already having the wiring. :)
