Hey Guys'n'Girls,

Have I missed something here...friend of a friend tells me he runs a reversing camera & plays video from his iPhone, all through his intravee?

Is this the case, can't see anything on the web about being able to do this. My understanding was it just had audio features???

Anyone got any experience of this?

If you have a TV module I believe you can add a reversing camera, no idea if you need an Intravee to do this. The Intravee II is an interface into the cars I-Bus communication network, it acts as a gateway so you can attach all sorts of Alpine goodies to it.

Edit, I believe your friend is also using the TV module to play video from his iPod. There are videos on youtube showing this.
 
The Intravee can't be used to display video, you can do it by connecting up the AV input on the TV module but even then the KCA-420i won't play video from your iPod.
