Intravee II

I have a repeat calendar on my 1st gen nano in the boot.... Lasts about 2 weeks before the battery dies and I need to remove it from the car to charge it and then plug it back in!

Get yourself a cheap 2nd hand Classic/Video. Intravee charges them. Got my mint 80gb off of Gumtree for about £65. Ebay prices are stupid though.

Or buy one of these:

I have one if I need to charge my iPhone 4 in the car, but I use an older 120GB classic for my audio and this charges fine as Jimbo said.

The first gen nano is also charged via FireWire so all good with the intravee.

I meant if I leave my car undriven for 2weeks with the repeat calendar it will eventually run out of power! And then needs to be charged a little outside the car before the intravee can start charging it again.

Also the intravee has a limit of 200 something in it's list... so even with my 4th nano I can't display all artists!!!

Limit should be 511 playlists/artist/album, limit of the Alpine unit rather than the Intravee so it's nothing the can do in software

Today, while digging around the roadster's trunk wall for my CD changer wires, I found a loose coaxial cable, pictured. What is this for?

I'm trying to determine if I need the DSP adapter prior to ordering a Dice Mediabridge. Perhaps this is the coaxial cable mentioned by BSW in the below link, near the bottom of the page?

Here's another angle of the wire, highlighted in red. Any idea what this is for? It comes from behind the box you can see mounted to the (US) driver's side trunk wall.

I have the dsp amp fitted- it is on the right side of the trunk wall. The purple wire is coming from behind whatever that box is on the left side of the trunk wall. I don't have navigation- would I have a TV module coaxial without it? Maybe so.

Thanks for your help. I've ordered the Mediabridge already, so I want to determine if I need the dsp adapter soon so I can order that too if I need it.
