Intravee II random mode?

Hi,

I have the above with the Alpine unit hooked up to an iPod. On the Intravee's main menu, no matter which random mode I select, nothing happens. What I hoped would happen is when I skipped to the next track, it would randomly pick the next song from all my albums. I have the professional unit in my zed with sat nav.

Anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

I set my ipod to album shuffle. Never tried through the intravee.

Thanks. I'll try that today. I normally don't touch my iPod - just leave it hooked up in the compartment between the seats.

You only need to do it once, so not a real problem.

Mine seems to start in random mode quite a lot... Need to check the settings.

Mine has a selection for "random song", "random album", or "none". I have it on "random song" and works fine for me :?

yep - when i pick next it goes to the a random song within the playlist
