Intravee II & KCA 420i Price / Options

Im in the market for an Intravee given that the Dension my car came with has packed up.

Brand new from toysinyourcar the breakdown is as follows:

Alpine KCA-420i iPod adapter 1 £83.39 £83.39
Long AiNET Cable 1 £21.73 £21.73

Shipping (Standard Charge) £7.65
VAT £47.75
Total £286.47

On ebay there is a set going for, at the minute £180 but still bidding
I was outbig on a set last week which sold for £210

For the sake of a few quid i would rather buy new

BUT i thought i would ask

1) Can you buy this stuff anywhere else cheaper new?
2) Do i need the long cable for the Z4 or is the short enought?

I was in the same boat as you. I bid on a few Intravee/KCA-420i combos on ebay but they all went for silly money ( not much cheaper than new).
Just bite the bullet and get it from Toysinyourcar. Excellent company to do business with. The owner Leigh went out of his way to help when I had problems.

As for the Ainet cable I think I went with the short as both units are positioned close together.
