Intravee II/KC420i in 2006 E85 w/ DSP, NavPro, BT, iPod

I've got a 2006 BMW Z4 2.5si Roadster (LT91484.)

It has the following from factory/stock:
Navigation Professional.
No CD-changer.
Original iPod-connector in the glovebox.
DSP-system.
Bluetooth phone integration/preparation.

I want to install an Intravee II w/ Alpine KC420i iPod-adapter to get music from my iPhone.
I'm also adding an OEM AUX-plug (Part number 82110142174) in the ashtray into the mix. I'm guessing that won't cause any problems.

Will the Intravee replace the original iPod-adapter?
Can I store all the components it inside the dashboard/behind the Head Unit?

I also have an OEM iPhone Snap-in Cradle Basic in the rear centre console that currently only charges my iPhone 5. (Part number 84212351307)
Pictured is the eject box frame that shows the connecting cable type. (Part number 84212222122)

Which has this plug. (http://i.imgur.com/o5PgDiI.jpg)
(It doesn't matter, but the snap-in connects to this plug in the car. (http://i.imgur.com/uzZQnEc.jpg))

How can I modify the Intravee II/KC420i-iPod-connector/plug to connect to the eject box/snap in cradle plug? Are there even enough pins for this to work?
I'm hoping I can buy a plug and play-adapter in this case.

I'll probably never get any definite answer to this, but I'll at least make a thread before I order anything.

The intravee connect to the CD changer lead. Not sure if Z4's destined for Norway would have CD Changer preparation so you need to check.

The only logical place to install is in the boot on the rear bulkhead or as I and others have done in the rear console. You need to remove your existing interface though.

You cannot connect it to the cradle, there is no point as this has no BT functionality.

I also have AUX which works fine with the setup including DSP.

Thank you for the answers, but as I should have stated in the OP, I want the Intravee to connect to and charge my iPhone while it's in the cradle.

I thought the OEM iPod-adapter in the glovebox was connected to the CD-changer plug in the Head Unit?
In case you only mean if the cables are in place, I understand.

What do you mean by my existing interface? The iPod-adapter?

It all depends how the existing ipod interface loom works. You could probably hack it to get it yo work with the intravee. Likewise you could hack the interface in the cradle. Might be easier to build an ashtray mount though as many others have done.

I'm guessing the Intravee II/KC420i will replace the OEM iPod-adapter completely, and I will have to pull a new CD-changer cable to the rear. It now all depends on how I can connect the iPod-connector to the snap-in cradle.
I'm not looking for the easy way out.

Remember the snap in adapter was only designed for BT so might not be the connections required for the intravee.

Only power and aerial connections are required for the BT.

That's my fear. I have the Basic, but there are Music and Media editions of the snap-in, which I suspect have the required connections/pins, but they cost $1 million. Would love to get this confirmed somehow.

Still, my Basic model does have 6 pins in the plug, that has to count for something
