I was part way through loading the new firmware and the battery in my laptop died. Now when I connect the intravee and open the downloader tool, all i get is lines and lines of garbeled characters.
I've tried pressing the C key repeatedly as it says on the Intravee forum, but no such luck, still doing it!!
Have e-mailed them also, but thought I would ask here too....

One thing I have noticed though within the car status information, the max RPM indicator seems to have an upper limit of 6500rpm and the G meters have a limit of +/- 0.532gs.

Yep, I'm not putting mine in until I've got a working USB to serial cable that I'll install permanently. Intravision sent me a link to one they recommended (they don't sell them themselves) so I've ordered and hopefully it'll turn up in the week
