Intravee & charging iPhone

I finally got around to installing my Intravee in my Z4MC, but it doesn't charge my iPhone4 when plugged in, however when I plug in my old iPod it charges that.

Does anyone know if it should be charging my iPhone4, if so any ideas on how I can get it to work?

Thanks

Thats because the charging volts between iPODs and Phones are different. If you want to charge your iphone when plugged into your Intravee you will need an inline 5v adaptor - something like http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12v-to-5v-Voltage-Charging-Adapter-Converter-for-Apple-iPhone-3GS-4S-iPod-Touch-/261070141561?pt=UK_MP3_Player_Accessories_Cables_Adapters&hash=item3cc8fe3879

cheers

If I hadn't taken the one out of your car then that's what I'd be buying - should work fine

I hope you don't mind me asking how the installation went? Is yours a roadster and did you go through the rear..?
