Well, my Harvey system is up and running now - so if you need to give that underneath a good seeing to
Typical Dutchman - obsessed with other people's undercarriage....

What is this Harvey system ? Is it ramps ? That will make CDV operations a doddle...

It's a whole-house water softener

Ah, ok. He can wash my car then :D

Actually PVR, does that mean you have some spare DI sand now then ? Mines going off now so I need to buy more. I also need to know what container to buy for the unused half

I'm looking at buying a scissor lift, but I think it was a bit short-sighted of PVR not to install a 2 or 4 post lift when he rebuilt his garage..... he should have known that we'd need to use it occasionally

OK, so I need bring the following:

Imola dye
pc so we can hack mj2k cars, like programme 3 flasher as 30
some wire
double sided pads to mounth the 12v supply for the camera
clips to hold the wire (unless we take an angle grinder to his mirror housing)
something for Bing hopefully
soldering Iron
one of my special terminals (not scotchlocs) for the camera +ive unless somebody fancies soldering it

Anything else?

heatshrink, hot air gun, crimping tool, gas soldering iron, silver solder - although I can bring all that if I make it

As far as connecting to the 12v line goes, I dislike the normal ScotchLok connectors (the 3-wire jelly type aren't bad though as they go at the ends of the wires)

So I would cut the line and
- solder + heatshrink
- crimped butt splice (the usb power supply lines are thin and can be inserted into the butt splice) + heatshrink

If you don't want to cut the line then solder + self amalgamating tape

I have the self amalgamating tape, heatshrink, hot air gun, crimping tool, soldering iron.

I have several hammers, including a rubber one. Though that might be something the Thai has...

Wow that was a lot of posts today while I was out.

I think the camera came with spare pads, so welcome to one Bing. I have my old B2 generic case & dock if you fancy a spare? Sold a car with the mount in it & never got round to getting another sorted.

PVR - well done for remembering to book a table!

Depending on time, for me it would be:

Intravee & dash rattle (and a passenger locating the plastic clunk below glovebox)
Camera install
CDV if time, but highly doubting it unless it is a quick job

Car is now clean & watching the rain clouds gathering, typical.

Am I meant to keep fresh resin in a special container then, just keeping it in the bag it came in?

Also like to see how to touch up paint without making a mess. Happy to learn on yours Bing

mj2k, got all the bits x2 thanks - the one in the car died and I had to get another that came with all the bits.

Apparently yes, sealed and in a cool - but not freezing - dry place. PVR uses a dog food container - I just want to see what it looks like.
