Intravee & Alpine unit (not mine) - and some other random

I take full responsibility, but have enjoyed the many topics it has covered & the resulting meet with 'those who know'

So shall I just buy a big assortment of the connectors?

Yes, I can't be bothered to walk to the garage to check all the sizes I have :D

Only just got in from a top down drive back from a client site 8)

Hope you enjoyed the drive :driving:

Lots of short trips today, so been using the wife's 2.5si as less likely to get upset with all the short journeys :D

I'd assumed your 911 was hard top, no idea why - look forward to seeing it.

Thanks for the heads up for Combi, great customer service - Lee called this morning to confirm my next day delivery request, whereas still awaiting the call back from the dealer for the refund on the rattle they did not fix....given they haven't actually done anything, am I wrong believing I shouldn't pay for their time?

I did not take the 911 today … I have two convertibles and the 911 is hard top yes, with glass sunroof though.

if its just to install the intravee you'll only need red or blue,
maplin or Halfords will sell boxes with various connectors
you may want to use a decent set or crimping pliers
ones that ratchet up are better

as apposed to this that doesn't

also connectors with a size guide on the page

How did I miss the other two! Lovely choice you have.

Thanks Mark, it is for the dash cam but the links are useful thank you

I bought mine from Amazon, was about a quarter of the price for the same make / model.

Left it slightly late for amazon, but with a voucher only £2 more from argos for a 64gb sandisk ultra, so happy enough with that. Decided to go for a larger card rather than 2 smaller one for simplifying the dual card issues they do. It seem to have quite solved.

16gb would be more than enough, but this gives me the ability to record my roundabout prowess

Another topic in the thread, loving it!

My hood works, but bringing my polishing bits for your exhaust tips; shame on you

Ah, didn't replace the hood, just the starter motor

I think you'll find my tips are actually very, very clean... They could just be cleaner :D

I have very little I can bring to this meet aside from a nice Thai lunch, so am also happy to learn what I thought was shiny internals is just run of this mill & instead of polishing others I spend time shamed into polishing my own!
