Dunno, i think it will be as you say.

It was fitted underneath the nav when i bought the car.

Looks like a scorche or similar, which converts the newer iPhone connection to work with the Intravee - has to do with apple changing the 5v charging point in the iPhone 4 4s and 5

Tapatalking...

Per above. I had no bites on her from here at 185 yet it sold recently on eBay for 209 delivered

I want one of these but it's not on my priority list at the moment. I think this is a very fair price but I too reckon T2FFN could get more on Ebay. Why anybody would pay more than what a brand new Intravee and a second hand Alpine would cost amazes me. Alpines have gone on Ebay for between £20 and £45 or so.

How bizarre. I recently bought a brand new Intravee for £153 and got a second hand Alpine with cables off Ebay for £30 delivered. Doesn't look like it's too difficult to pick the Alpines up for between £30 and £40 most of the time.

So it seems on Ebay second hand Intravee units are worth more than brand new ones. Perhaps Toysinyourcar should advertise on Ebay.

Can't believe no-one has bought this yet at this price... I am tempted myself. Hmmm. Service on Monday, unemployment on Thursday. However I have just bought an iPhone as I have to give up my Berry. What would Mrs Bing say from her new £2.2k living room suite delivered yesterday... :?

Questions -

1. Where does the Alpine box go - where the CD multichanger is ?
2. Does this make the CD player unusable because you need the connection in the head unit for the Intravee ? So it doesn't matter if you remove the CD player ?
3. How hard is this to fit on a scale of 1 to 'not a chance Bing' ? Bearing in mind that 'not a chance Bing' is at about 3.5 on a scale of 1 to 5 :P

Figured others may want to know this too, as I really shouldn't do this...

Doooo ittttt!

I love being able to say that to those that contributed to my ooh shiny IMmie purchase :D

You won't regret getting one, and it won't lose any value when you come to sell (if you do)

1. Wherever you like. My Alpine box is under the passenger seat. The Intravee plugs in as a replacement to the changer which you'd be we'll advised to leave in place. The Intravee lives in the boot on the bulkhead in mine

2. Yes but see answer above :)

3. Score of 1 or 2. Fiddly but not difficult. An hour or so start to finish. (edited as I did the original as a score out of 10)

Fitting is a 1 to 2; getting the mats shifted Round and pulling the cable into your final iPod position is the most difficult. Putting it through to the glove box would be a pita.
It replaces the cd auto changer but single cd still works
It goes wherever you have room, but the cable connection to the cd changer is used to connect to the Intravee

There are a number of fitting guides on here, and photos. I can send some through if you need help, can't assist own the fitting though as too far away!

Thanks Stu - for you encouragement, and advice below

I don't remember making you buy IMmie though, that was Ruby and Woots - I was trying to contain my jealousy all through that thread :D

Hmmm. Thinking about it. Might have to wait till I get paid on Thursday...

Couple of additional questions - where do you put your phone, and how much is this lot retail ? I am sure when I looked it was about £250 for the lot...
