Ipod cable has extended by previous owner as he had in front of car. Works fine and has up to date firmware.

£190 delivered.

Yes, and well oiled by the looks of the picture as well

Sorry to come across as a little dim but what can this do? I've sat nav.
Is it straight forward plug in & play?
Would I need anymore parts to make it work?
Cheers

Main use is to connect an iPod/iPhone but will do a lot more

Aboce is all you need if you have an iPod/iPhone

Yes also allows access to journals service Info etc. Prob best interface for BMW. Plugs from cd changer plug straight into this.

Does it give you full use of iPhone? Menu search etc. How about album art?
I've not got a cd changer, still easy to install?
Cheers

Easier to install if you do NOT have a cd player as otherwise you would have to remove that.

No album art, yes to search / play lists / album lists.

The only kit that is any good to use in the Z4 if you have satnav, there is nothing better out there.

what about if u dont have a sat nav like me, is this then pointless?

Yes, I was using a dice iPod interface which allows track names to appear on the radios display. plus you can search artists, albums and playlist etc

So, is it gone by now?

Looking for an alternative to replace the cd-changer in my E86. It has satnav and DSP (the 6 and 3 pin CDC connected version) with 10 speakers.

You can get a brand new Intravee II for £120 at the moment...

http://www.toysinyourcar.com/acatalog/intravee.html

and used alpine KCA boxes are typically £30 to £40 on EBay.
