I recently purchased a 2003 2.5i E85 and have various issues.
Two I am trying to resolve and seek help for are with the internal storage compartment (rear and between seats).:
1) The emergency pull string from the boot does not seem to do anything?
2) I replaced the Upper panel (the one with the two release buttons on) and seemed to open close ok initially. Now though the neither of the buttons will press in so the lower button that opens the compartment panel will not work? I have to use a small knife to push the lock to open the panel.
However If I take the panel off, the two release buttons work OK. The mechanism lock pushes up OK when I use my finger on the retaining lock slide.
I hope that all makes sense and would love any advice as I like the car but having so many small issues it is distracting me from enjoying it.
