this is a copy of my report on the sports button:
" Sport button failed , Checked operation of sport button - ok at time of test,checked fault memories stored fault in EPS sport button displayed
currently not present,checked status of button -showing pressed/unpressed,worked through test plan,checked fuses -ok
removed gear selector check connections at plug for button connected wire from pin 6 of EPS , sport button lights when earthed.
Test plan advised EPS steering column replacement. Replaced steering column,cleared faults , programmed control unit & tested ok."
