Intermittent High-Beam

Hi,

After flashing my neighbour to let him pass, he pulled up beside me and informed me that my passenger side headlight was not flashing, only the drivers side was working. Later on when I had a chance to pull over and check, I found that it was working again.
I have noticed on occasion that sometimes when I turn the headlights on, the passenger-side headlight may take a few seconds to come on while the driver's side is instant.
What would be the likely cause of these two issues?

Yes, I should have mentioned that

The burner (bulb equivalent) is probably on its way out. They're cheap and easily available these days.

Not to spoil the theory but flashing is by the halogen bulb, even with bi-Xenons.

Jack up the car, take wheel off (don’t have to but 10x easier if you do so) and pull headlight cover off to see what’s going on. My guess is either xenon bulb on way or igniter has come loose.
