Intermittent hesitation

Intermittently i experience a hesitation at around 1100 to 1500 rpm mostly in second gear . Also on tick over it can occasionally be lumpy . Any suggestions?

Funny you should say that...our Mazda3 also has a very slight hesitation at EXACTLY 1300prm but only in second gear and is only noticeable when driving slowly. It has done it forever and I still don't know why! Never at the same revs in any other gear. :?

2nd at 1300 putting load on engine.
My cars dodgy tick over was oil in plug shorting coil.
New cam cover fixed.
