Intermittent Dash Lights Remaining on

Hi :D

I always run with the Auto lights active, just a couple of times recently after turning the engine and ignition off (while the lights have been on) the interior light comes on as normal and everything else goes off - except for the dashboard (speedo & rev counter dials) lights.

I then have to turn on the lights manually and then back round to auto for them to turn off :?

Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Happened on my last car a few times, and once on my current one. It's gremlins. The car has a few as standard . They piss around with the windows too :D
 
I solved it by selling the car :D

seriously though, no I didn't, as bing says just Gremlins I guess. Is yours happening regularly?
