Looking for pictures of rear quarters and/or rear screen. And what do people think of additional black areas on a dark blue car (windows, wheels roof etc)?

Molly and Zara interested.

1st thing I did on mine

Reckon it could look good if the tint was right.
2dogs, what % a yours and do you have any other pictures?

This should give you an idea.. was supposed to be 35% on sides, and 25% on rear.. dude did 25 on the rear quarters too, which I'd wanted at 35 to match the doors, but I'm still fine with the results. Here in Arizona, tinting isn't optional, it's absolutely MANDATORY with our brutal summer heat.

As for additional black areas - not for me. Especially black/dark wheels - I don't think they work with Interlagos at ALL - at least not for me.

Thanks for all input and reference.
Ruby - it all comes down to how you feel personally. I'm erring towards a tint setup for the summer. Maybe 20 or 25%.

Wow...it actually rained in the dessert? :o

Yes! Sort of. Note that the ground is barely wet. Last year, we had about 3 inches of rain - TOTAL - heading into December. Average for a year is about 9, which is still pathetic, but we weren't even close to that.

To the OP: do it. Your car will look fine, your interior will stay cooler in warm weather (do you have "hot" weather over there, ever?). In particular, a dark back glass is very helpful in keeping the interior cool.

Even though it's illegal, I'm going to get my windscreens in both cars tinted before summer. A light tint is completely unnoticeable, and really helps cut down UV and preserve the interior, and keep the car cooler during our triple-digit summer heat.
